Are you planning an event and just looking at the same old venues?
We get quite a lot of requests for unusual venues. ‘Something different’ is a popular request – and often no more information than that! So we we’ve spent years putting together some unusual venues options and thought we’d put together a little rundown of some of our favourite crazy ideas…
Yes, you can actually hire lighthouses, although they’re not a bargain option. But many of them have cottages and they’re popular for incentives and weddings. We’ve got a good list of them around the UK – there’s more than you’d think.
2 Holiday parks
We have worked with Butlin’s and other holiday parks to put together some awesome events! Did you know (depending on the time of year) you can hire an entire resort for your exclusive use?
3 Adventure parks
Just like the holiday resorts we work with those forest dwelling, luxury lodge, high rope challenge type places to put together some amazing groups. Really good for conferences and team activities and awaydays.
4 Glamping and woodlands
Get back to nature. Go foraging. Spend time with colleagues facing outdoor challenges. Swim in lakes. Doesn’t that sound good? We know places around the whole UK. Ask us.
5 Get out on the sea
Boats for events offers an extraordinary variety of choice. From sexy motor cruisers for leisurely days out to whopping great yachts, or challenging vessels that you sail as a team. And then there’s motorboats, RIBs and river boats. Why not take a fleet upstream with the team and have your meetings on the riverbank?
Imagine everyone’s excitement if you had an event in a fort! This one in the Solent is pretty well known but there are more dotted around the UK. Ask us.
7 Cottages and castles
Rural retreats, from groups of cottages nestled together for a chance to have a business pow wow under the sun or a summit under the stars. Or more grandiose surroundings steeped in heritage and history. Get away from the standard hotel format of the annual board meeting.
8 Ice hotels
Don’t forget you can sleep under the Northern Lights in specially created ice hotels too. What a way to see the skies. And these hotels – made entirely of ice – are usually beautifully carved and serve the best chilled cocktails too!
For all these option – (and more – we’re full of ideas), please give us a chance to book some exciting venues. Looking forward to hearing from you with your challenges 🙂
